According to the organizers, nordmedia – The Media Society of Lower Saxony/Bremen and Band Pro Munich also want to offer Europe’s largest training event in the high-definition field this year: From July 30 to August 5, internationally recognized experts and high-caliber guests are to impart know-how covering the entire production technology in Hanover. Multiple Oscar-nominated cinematographer Michael Ballhaus will lead the masterclass.
Workshop participants from the fields of camera, sound and postproduction (“Hands on”) will be trained in their respective area of work, but will also gain insight into the overall workflow, the organizers promise. In the strategy and networking seminars for directors and producers (“Hands off”), the focus is on digital archiving systems, distribution channels and exploitation options. In addition, more than 40 manufacturers will be available on site to participants for questions, suggestions and discussions.
