Opticore is a leading provider of visualisation software and has developed technology for creating highly interactive, realistic digital 3D product visualisations and presentations. Its products support digital prototyping based on computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided industrial design (CAID) concepts. The approach can reduce the need for physical prototypes, shorten development times and improve communication among developers, managers and customers.
Autodesk plans to continue developing Opticore technology and supporting Opticore customers. The company expects the combination of Autodesk and Opticore expertise and technology to enable more advanced visualisation products.
