The software, aimed at professional photographers and advanced amateurs, combines differently exposed shots of a high-contrast subject into an image containing detail in both shadows and highlights.
Photomatix Pro 3.0 offers a redesigned user interface and an improved workflow that make creating and processing HDR photos even easier. Additions include another automatic alignment method for handheld shots and an improved method for fusing images (exposure blending), producing natural-looking results while preserving details in highlights and shadows.

Priced at €98.00, PHOTOMATIX PRO 3.03, compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Mac OS X, will be available as a download and in a German boxed version from specialist retailers at the end of June.
