Second Photoshop Convention in Munich

The Photoshop Convention is entering its second year. The conference for professional Photoshop users is organized by Macromedia together with cooperation partner Adobe Systems.

The program is aimed at experienced graphic artists, digital photographers and designers, as well as employees working in prepress and electronic image processing at agencies or specialist departments. The event, which will take place in Munich on 6 and 7 November, creates a special forum offering visitors a combination of knowledge transfer, professional exchange and intensive industry networking.

The organizers have secured major names including Doc Baumann, Uli Staiger, Thomas Bredenfeld, Julieanne Kost and Bert Monroy for this year’s Photoshop Convention in Munich. With advertising as its central theme, Photoshop professionals can assemble an individual program from more than 40 presentations across four parallel panels. Optional hands-on workshops will be available after the conference.

“We see ourselves as an event for the Photoshop community,” says event director Thorsten Blach. “That is why, beyond the talks and workshops, there will be plenty of room for conversation and professional exchange.” A trade exhibition will accompany the program. Plans also include a round table on “Advertising and Ethics” and a get-together on the first evening for all visitors, speakers and exhibitors.

Conference tickets are available from EUR 399 plus VAT, including all presentations, catering and the supporting program. Special conditions for students are available from the organizer on request. The venue is the historic Alte Kongresshalle in the heart of Munich.
