In New York’s darkest and most dangerous corners, an outsider—a narcotics detective—is searching for his family’s killers.

To clear his name, he must uncover the secret behind the brutal killings and confront forces that seem not of this world. Mona (Mila Kunis), who is searching for her sister’s killer, stands by his side.
Max’s investigation draws him deeper into a world of drugs, corruption and conspiracy until he realizes that the same threat now haunting New York’s streets was responsible for his family’s deaths.
