dc days: Practical Seminar with Timo Schumacher

Timo Schumacher of animoto GmbH has been confirmed as a speaker at dc days. He will present an introductory XSI seminar.

The VFX technical director has worked for companies including Spans & Partner and CA Scanline since 2000. As FX supervisor, he contributed to the production of Michael “Bully” Herbig’s CG film Lissi and the Wild Emperor. He also has experience working on international blockbusters. As a developer, he created some of the water effects for Poseidon. Before entering the industry, he studied media informatics.
