Since 16 September, Bamboo Scribe, a powerful handwriting-recognition application, has been included with every new Bamboo pen tablet. Anyone who bought a Bamboo before that date has been unable to use the application until now. During December, every Bamboo user can download Bamboo Scribe free of charge, regardless of when the tablet was purchased. Users simply need to visit the Bamboo website at http://www.wacom.eu/bamboo between 1 and 31 December and enter the Bamboo tablet’s serial number.
What Is Bamboo Scribe?
Bamboo Scribe converts handwritten notes into digital text or symbols. Combined with a pen tablet under macOS or Windows, it offers a natural alternative to keyboard input.
Users can enter search terms by hand while browsing the internet, write emails in their own handwriting, or sign Christmas cards and invitations with the pen. Bamboo Scribe gives Bamboo users many creative ways to use a computer in their own individual style.
What Is Bamboo?

Bamboo Minis are a growing collection of small but useful applications that let users perform many different tasks, from drawing, sketching and commenting to marking maps and playing games with the pen tablet. Bamboo Dock, placed as an icon on the desktop, provides access to the new applications. It allows users to navigate intuitively through them with the digital pen and stay informed about newly available tools.
