Southern Germany is gripped by winter-sports fever: the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding, Bavaria, thrilled around 94,700 spectators. The sold-out stadium thus gave the organisers a new attendance record. At the traditional Black Forest Cup in Schonach, around 10,000 spectators cheered on the Nordic combined athletes, and at the Nordic Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten, visitor numbers also exceeded 20,000, Screen Visions continues.
According to the company, Screen Visions was responsible for the on-site video systems as general supplier at all three events. Almost 300 square metres of mobile LED systems in total met the rush of visitors, ensuring that spectators further away could also keep a good view of the athletes, explained Jeannette Molfenter. As Senior Consultant, she has worked for the Stuttgart specialists for 17 years, leads the winter-sports assignments and directs the video trailers on site.
