The detailed programme with speakers at the specialist congress and the option to register can now be found at http://www.munich-gaming.com. Across 15 individual events, presentations and panel discussions will provide information on the subject areas of “Convergence & Platforms”, “Business & Production” and “Society & Politics”. The congress is organised by Medientage München GmbH.
A new industry buzzword is cloud gaming. Streaming services that distribute games from servers to players as compressed data offer many advantages: gamers are no longer dependent on the latest hardware, and publishers no longer need an intermediary. Russell Barash, Managing Director of Playcast Media from London, will report at Munich Gaming on Wednesday, March 24, on how gaming as a service could shake up the market and to what extent the pay-TV model can be transferred to the games industry.
Renate Grof, Senior Manager at Gamesload, will also present the development of digital distribution of games at Deutsche Telekom.
At the exhibition in the immediate vicinity of the specialist congress, you will gain insight into the diversity of the digital-games world as well as detailed information on education and career opportunities in gaming. Attractive opportunities are available here for companies to present themselves. Further information about exhibition areas or other forms of participation can be found at http://www.munich-gaming.com/ausstellung.
