Samuel Servante, former Makerbot boss, developed a 3D printer, now in its second generation, for home use. The printer, made of metal, has the shape of a cube and has external dimensions of 30cm per edge. The prototypes produced in the thoroughly compact printer can have a maximum size of 16cm x 16cm x 16cm. Overall, this dream come true for all 3D artists is offered in three versions. The basic variant will cost the equivalent of 378 EUR, while the Pro variant, at almost 38 EUR more, is equipped with, among other things, interior lighting and a stronger power supply. The Expert variant costs around 454 EUR and is provided with an outer housing. In order to control the printer, users are supplied with the necessary software(Mac, Windows, and Linux) and a USB cable.
