Activision Publishing and High Moon Studios relied on the help of Digital Domain as well as Mothership director Neil Huxley in creating the new teaser trailer for Transformers – Fall of Cybertron. The 90-second trailer again concerns a hectic battle between the Decepticons and Autobots, while new heroes are also revealed.

Comments on the New Trailer

"The vision is much more apocalyptic this time," said Huxley, who also wrote the piece. "This trailer is about more destruction, more atmosphere – everything on a larger scale. We already explored the emotional side of the characters with a thoughtful, dramatic piece of the story in the first teaser; with this one, however, we got into gear to accelerate the action. We knew that the client wanted to see METROPLEX revealed at the climax of the teaser. That was the actual starting point, and we were given the creative freedom to develop the story around it, which catapults viewers back into this world."

Peter Della Penna, studio head of High Moon Studio, said, "With Digital Domain, you know that you always get something wonderful and technically precise. What we learned on this piece was that their work on the story and leadership of the project is equally strong. It was great to work with Digital Domain again and get the full potential of their creativity."

The game will be available on August 31, 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
