TP: Demolition Master Causes Destruction

Anyone who wants to bring some serious destruction into a 3ds Max animation may make use of the Demolition Master tool. It is based on a Thinking Particles solver together with concave as well as convex objects.

Eloi Andaluz presents the interactive destruction tool Demolition Master, which brings with it a host of functions that will make VFX TDs sit up and take notice. On the basis of TP in particular, users are given the option of adjusting all destruction parameters according to their own wishes. Furthermore, the tool includes materials for wood, glass, and steel, including instant generation of fragments. If FumeFX is being used at the same time, direct interaction also takes place here.

The tool is available in two variants: a free Lite version with limited functionality, and for EUR 25 there is the full version, including a palette of extensive functions. Both versions can be downloaded from the developer’s website. To use the tool, a 3ds Max version from 2010 onward and Thinking Particles 4 are required.
