Service Pack 4 is intended to add a quality improvement to the Showcase 2013 rendering software. Improvements are said to have been added to shadows cast from one object onto another. According to Autodesk, SP 4 also resolves the problem of baked ambient shadows making certain areas of the surface disappear. As well as a rarer problem with the display that sometimes occurred when scaling individual objects.
Service Pack 4 belongs to the release of Showcase 2013 and Showcase Professional 2013 SP1, SP2 and SP3; it is also a prerequisite for Showcase 2013 R1, which has also been available to registered users in the Subscription Center since December.
