In the 21st animago year, 962 entries from 58 countries reached the animago competition, of which 368 were stills and 594 films.

Dust my Shoulders

For the first English-language song “Dust my Shoulders off” by Asian singer Jane Zhang, Studio Grass Jelly created an original music video with scenes that breathe new life into famous works of art history. The jury was particularly impressed by the successful transitions between these scenes, which give the video a long-take impression. Before shooting, a precisely elaborated pre-visualisation had to be worked out, as everything in the original plates had to be right for the demanding post-production.
