Fifty Ultimate Generators Enter the Node Garden

Over 50 procedural contraptions tackle cities, fluids, fractures and magic trails. Manual library wrangling remains entirely optional.

Surrounding it are colorful thumbnails of various digital assets, displayed on a dark interface. Bold white text at the bottom reads 'ULTIMATE GENERATORS BUNDLE,' starkly contrasting with the vibrant visuals.

Blender Procedural has assembled more than 50 ready-made setups into a single procedural collection. The pack covers Geometry Nodes effects, simulations, generators and environmental building tools.

The catalogue wanders cheerfully from practical scene construction into visual mischief. It includes city, castle and island builders, plus voxel sand, fluids and foam. Magic trails, swarms, wind effects and bubble wrap occupy the more playful shelves. Painting strokes, mosaics and carousels handle the art department, while fractures, cracks and edge wear wait nearby with tiny procedural hammers. Science-fiction panels, slime and condensation complete the cabinet.

Every setup uses Geometry Nodes. That keeps the collection inside Blenders procedural system rather than introducing a separate simulation package or proprietary graph.

The library takes the scenic route

The bundle itself is an asset library. Users register it manually in the DCC’s Asset Libraries and append node groups by hand. That approach keeps the assets exposed through the host’s standard library workflow, which will suit artists who already organise procedural tools there and do not mind a little administrative gardening.

With more than 50 setups, however, manual browsing can become a small archaeological expedition. It simply has the flavour of filing taxes inside a node editor.

Then the sidebar arrives with biscuits

The separate 50 Procedural Generators Addon V2 packages the same collection behind a sidebar panel. Its main job is not to invent another batch of effects. It removes several manual steps from installing, finding and appending the existing ones.

After installation from a ZIP file, the add-on can register the asset library through an Add Asset Library button. A List Geometry Nodes command loads the available setups into a dropdown. Append to Active Object places the chosen node group on the selected object. Parameters then appear under Geometry Node Settings in the sidebar, which avoids opening the Geometry Node Editor for routine adjustments.

So the library supplies the content. The add-on supplies the doorman, catalogue and helpful trolley. Both lead to the same procedural pantry, but one expects users to fetch their own jars.

This wrapper may matter more than another generator. Asset libraries become less charming when artists cannot remember whether the useful setup lives under Simulations, Environments or Things That Looked Sensible Last Thursday. A searchable dropdown and one-click append operation can reduce navigation, especially during look development or rapid 3D creation.

The sidebar also exposes live controls without demanding an excursion into the full graph. That can help less technical users operate prepared effects, while node specialists retain the underlying setup for deeper changes.

Price of admission

The marketplace currently displays a regular price of USD 29 and a sale price of USD 20.30 for both the asset library and the add-on. Sale pricing can change, so the storefront remains the final number before purchase.

The library lists compatibility with versions 4.0 through 4.5 and a royalty-free licence. The add-on lists versions 4.0 through 5.0 and a GPL licence, with Cycles and Eevee as render engines.

Buying only the library preserves the standard Asset Browser workflow. Buying the add-on adds automated registration, dropdown browsing, direct appending and sidebar controls.
