What Happens Next for Existing Customers?

Support for already licensed customers is still guaranteed until 2018. If you have a plug-in version that is still valid in November 2017, you can also still extend your licence. To do so, you must send a request to arc-licensing@nvidia.com.

With the end of Mental Ray, nVidia has now focused on the company’s other GPU-accelerated ray tracing technologies. These include OptiX, MDL, IndeX and the Iray renderer. You can find an overview here.
