The number of formats and codecs in the video sector is constantly increasing, but new playback options are also available. There is therefore a growing need to be able to convert these file formats among one another as quickly as possible and then make them available for distribution.
Anystream wants to take up this trend with the further developments of its Agility platform shown at the NAB. These offer HD transcoding faster than real time, Live Flash Support, applications for forensic watermarks and dynamic graphic overlays. The watermarks are inserted into the video material during the transcoding process and are intended to enable content providers to identify copyright-protected material.
For the recently acquired Velocity content system, Anystream is showing an expanded advertising management solution at the NAB. Advertising insertions are added to VOD, web and mobile-phone data streams.
