On the basis of 3D visualization software from Munich-based software manufacturer Bitmanagement Software GmbH, Hamburg online agency Vhaus GmbH has recreated the HSV Arena photorealistically in 3D and additionally created a series of interactive experience offerings. The complex interplay of 3D vector graphics, which form the geometric framework, superimposed surface textures and detailed lighting information creates a spatial experience of the kind known from current computer games.
Web visitors to the HSV stadium can walk through the gigantic structure independently and enter areas that are otherwise not publicly accessible: For example, they can pay a visit to the virtual club museum, walk through all spectator stands or walk through the players’ tunnel onto the pitch. Entire boxes and areas can also be rented in which events can be organized. The real stadium and the virtual one hardly differ even as advertising media. As in the real stadium, advertising partners can run perimeter advertising or have their own rooms built for product presentations and provide information there.
To enter the cyber arena on the Internet, an HSV plug-in licensed especially for this cyber property must be installed. The cyber arena can then be entered directly.
