With this resolution, according to Canon, the DP-V3010 preview monitor enables true DCI 4K with an aspect ratio of up to 16:10. The IPS LCD panel is said to be capable of 10-bit and up to 60 Hz; in addition, the five color gamut standards SMPTE-C, EBU, ITU-R, BT.709, DCI and AdobeRGB are supported.
In addition, Canon Log Gamma is intended to be supported natively by the monitor so that footage from the Canon C300/500 camera can be viewed with a suitable LUT.

Anyone who values a good 4K viewing option has to dig deep into their pockets: According to DVInfo, the monitor is expected to be available for around 40,000 dollars in the first quarter of the new year.
