Substance Plug-in for 3ds Max

Allegorithmic’s Substance plug-in is now also available for 3ds Max – allowing you to adjust materials from Substance in 3ds Max.

Allegorithmic has released a new Substance plug-in for 3ds Max (beta). This means you can now also edit the procedural materials (.sbsar) in Max with the latest features. With this plug-in, Allegorithmic adds to the DCC support that already exists for Maya, Houdini, Modo and Unity. Autodesk is also now integrating the Substance Source Library into its own 3ds Max Asset Library. Here is the download!

An Overview of the Features

  • 8K resolution is now also supported with the plug-in.
  • Presets can now be created and saved with your materials.
