Since the permanent integration in the new Cinema 4D R19 version (for Windows and Mac), AMD has released further plug-ins for ProRender. The free PBR renderer is therefore now also available for Blender and Maya on macOS. These are still beta versions, but the feature set is intended to correspond to the Windows and Linux variants at release. According to the installation guide, CPU + GPU rendering and denoising features are currently disabled. AMD also announced support for Apple’s Metal 2 API.
