New sneak peek video presenting the upcoming functions of Marvelous Designer 9 ! Among other things, the update brings manual retopology features, half-pattern symmetry and GPU simulation. According to the developers, however, GPU simulation works only with Nvidia graphics cards (CUDA). Due to some restrictions, the quality of the GPU simulation is also said not to be as good as the CPU variant. The feature is therefore initially intended only for quick previews. The other new features include
- Subdivisions of selected surfaces for more detail
- Mirror Creation, to create your designs symmetrically from the start
