SIGGRAPH 2020 presented more than 150 technical-paper projects spanning stylisation, cloth, fluids, MPM, portraits and tactile rendering.

SIGGRAPH 2020 shifted online and presented more than 150 projects in computer graphics and interactive techniques.

Simulation and geometry

The programme included homogenised yarn-level cloth, reduced fluid models for immersed bubbles, intersection- and inversion-free contact, two-way coupled turbulent flow, anisotropic damage mechanics and multi-GPU Material Point Method research.

Images and interaction

Other papers covered few-shot video stylisation, portrait-shadow manipulation, face generation from sketches and tactile rendering based on skin-stress optimisation.

Coupled material methods

IQ-MPM addressed non-sticky coupling between nonlinear solids and fluids, while scalable MPM work targeted parallel simulation across multiple GPUs.
