Archive notice: This June 2020 call for proposals is closed. Its deadlines, voting pages and event format are retained only as historical information.
Autodesk invited proposals for Autodesk University 2020, including presentations, instructional demonstrations, panels, roundtables, workshops and product briefings. The programme sought material on VFX, visualisation, generative design, augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud collaboration and 3D printing.
A digital event
The 2020 conference moved online, combining live and on-demand sessions. Autodesk planned to make the material available through the University website after the event.
Historical deadlines
The general submission deadline was 22 June 2020. International proposals from China, France, Germany, Japan, Russia and Spain were accepted until 9 July 2020. Community voting and the original proposal guide belonged to that completed selection cycle and should not be treated as current submission routes.
Anyone planning a current conference submission should consult the present Autodesk University programme and test any demonstrated workflow on current software before production use.
The opening keynote from the preceding event remains linked below for historical context.
