Internet use 5.3% cheaper in 2007 than in 2006

According to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), prices for Internet use in the 2007 annual average were 5.3% below the 2006 level. Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, prices for Internet use fell by 4.9% in December 2007. Prices remained stable compared with the previous month.

NDR Television Continues on Course for Success

NDR Television remains ARD's most successful third channel in 2007. With a nationwide annual market share of 2.8 percent, the broadcaster maintained first place, followed by WDR Television, which achieved an annual figure of 2.6 percent. Altogether, 10.7 million people in Germany tuned in to the third channel from the north every day during the year now drawing to a close.
