March TV Market: RTL Scores Across Genres

In March, RTL again leads among viewers aged 14 to 49. With a 15.8 percent audience share, it is ahead of ProSieben at 12.1 percent, Sat.1 at 10.9 percent, VOX at 7.4 percent and ZDF at 7.1 percent. Among the total audience, RTL places behind ZDF and ARD with an 11.7 percent share.

Constantin Film Reports Preliminary 2007 Figures

Constantin Film AG generated consolidated revenue of €225.0 million in 2007 according to preliminary IFRS figures after accounting-policy changes. Revenue was down 14.3 percent from the record €262.7 million in 2006, but the group met its targets despite difficult market conditions.

N24 Continues on Its Growth Course

Germany's leading news channel N24 achieved an average market share of 1.2 percent in the advertising-relevant target group of viewers aged 14 to 49 in the first three months of the year. This is the best first quarter in the channel's history and represents an increase of 0.1 percentage points compared with the first quarter of 2007.
