Symposium: Realtime Behavior of Data Networks for Audio and Video Transmission
A live broadcast, for example at the Soccer World Cup, requires the transmission of audio and video signals in real time and in high quality over data networks. The symposium shows the requirements of realtime applications on the transmission networks, presents these using examples and opens an outlook on future networks using the example of current developments from research.
